Would you like to volunteer with us?

MAD4YU volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, but all share a commitment to using their unique skills and talents to empower others.

Does the thought of tutoring kids in school subjects appeal to you? Or, maybe you’d prefer working with adults on resume-writing, or to improve computer competency? How about something more administrative? (Tech support, video production, social media…..even blogging! 🙂 ) Whatever your interests and abilities, there’s a place for you at MAD4YU. No special training or experience is required, just a desire to help.

Regarding tutoring: We tutor both adults and school-age kids in all academic subject areas. We also work with adults in areas like computer skills training, resume-writing, and financial planning. We work one-on-one with our students, which allows us to gear tutoring sessions to individual need, moving at the pace each student requires.

MAD4YU tutoring sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays (11am – 6pm) at our warm and welcoming office in Highland Springs, VA. Sessions last one hour per subject, per student, for a minimum of nine weeks. We also offer virtual tutoring as an option to high school students.

NOTE: Youth Tutors (under 18) are welcome to volunteer with us, with parental consent! This is a great way to earn community service hours.
